Tour Plan

Day 1 Arrival in Nairobi

Tunza Tours will greet you when you arrive in Nairobi, Kenya’s lively capital, and take you to your hotel so you can check in and relax.

In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Giraffe Center to see endangered Rothschild giraffes up close.

Next, you’ll go on a game drive at Nairobi National Park, where you might spot lions, rhinos, giraffes, and zebras with the city skyline in the background. This is a unique experience.

Afterward, return to your hotel for a welcome dinner and a good night’s rest before the adventure continues.

Day 2 Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you’ll drive to Lake Naivasha through the Great Rift Valley, enjoying views of cliffs, hills, and wide open landscapes.

There will be stops at scenic viewpoints for photos and to admire this impressive part of Africa.

When you arrive at Lake Naivasha, you’ll see the calm lake and acacia trees. Settle into your comfortable lodge and relax.

Enjoy a relaxing boat ride across the lake, where you see hippos and birds like fish eagles, herons, and kingfishers. Go on a walking safari at Crescent Island Sanctuary, where you can get up close to giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests, amid breathtaking landscapes.

Day 3 Full day at Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate National Park to see cliffs, gorges, and walk among animals like buffalo, zebras, baboons, and gazelles.

A picnic lunch will be provided.

Return to the lodge for dinner and relaxation, and get ready for the next day’s adventure.

Day 4 Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

After breakfast, you’ll travel further into Kenya’s wilderness toward the famous Masai Mara National Reserve.

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed at the safari lodge with drinks and friendly service. After checking in, enjoy lunch with views of the savannah.

Go on your first game drive in the Mara to see elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, and cheetahs.

In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and relax by the bonfire under the stars.

Day 5 Full-Day Safari in Maasai Mara

Wake up early for a sunrise game drive, when predators are active, and you have a chance to see the Big Five.

Explore the plains, riverbanks, and quiet spots of the reserve, and enjoy a picnic lunch outdoors.

Visit a Maasai village to meet the Maasai people and learn about their culture, traditions, dances, and way of life.

Day 6 Masai Mara to Nairobi

On your last day, start with an early morning game drive for one more look at the savannah as it wakes up.
