Your East African adventure begins the moment you land in Nairobi. After a warm welcome from the Tunza Tours team, you’ll be transferred to your hotel to relax and recover from your journey.

On the 3rd you travel south to the world-famous Maasai Mara. The landscape opens into vast golden plains dotted with acacia trees classic safari country. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by your first game drive in one of Africa’s richest wildlife reserves.
A full day to explore the Mara means more chances to spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, and if you’re lucky, a dramatic river crossing during migration season.
You can choose between a relaxed morning and afternoon drive or a full-day safari with picnic lunch in the bush.

This is a true safari journey day as you cross into Tanzania and continue toward the Serengeti. The scenery shifts gradually, but the wildlife remains constant herds of wildebeest, zebras, and predators on the move. By afternoon, you’ll be deep in the Serengeti ecosystem.
Our 6th day is all about immersion in the Serengeti.
Early mornings are especially rewarding this is when predators are most active. Expect breathtaking scenes of wildlife interactions and endless photographic opportunities.

After a final morning game drive, you’ll head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The shift in landscape is striking open plains give way to lush highlands. By late afternoon, you’ll be perched on the crater rim with sweeping views below.
Your last safari experience takes place inside the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wildlife haven teeming with animals. This is one of the best places in East Africa to spot the Big Five in a single day.
After a picnic lunch, you’ll return to Arusha for your onward journey.
