Tour Plan

Day 1 Nairobi to Lake Nakuru

Your adventure starts as you leave Nairobi and head to Lake Nakuru.
When you arrive, the Tunza Tours team greets you with a warm welcome. They give a brief overview of the itinerary, safety tips, and how the group will work together.
You check in at a comfortable lodge near Lake Nakuru, designed for groups, and have some time to settle in.
In the afternoon, you set out on your first game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. You’ll see a variety of wildlife, including rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, baboons, and sometimes even lions. Flocks of flamingos line the lakeshore, creating a stunning scene. The drive is relaxed, giving everyone plenty of time for photos and wildlife watching.
In the evening, everyone comes together for dinner under the stars. Afterward, you’ll have time for introductions, sharing stories, and group activities to help everyone get to know each other and start the safari on a friendly note.

Day 2 Lake Nakuru To Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you head to Lake Naivasha for a peaceful boat safari on the calm lake. As you ride, you’ll spot hippos in the water, fish eagles flying overhead, and many different birds along the shore.

The journey continues to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. Here, you walk safely among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes in an open, predator-free environment. This creates a unique opportunity for close wildlife interaction and photography.
In the afternoon, you can choose from activities at Hell’s Gate National Park, like cycling through gorges, taking an easy hike, or exploring scenic cliffs. This park is perfect for those who want a bit more adventure.
In the evening, you head back to the lodge for a relaxed dinner, time around the campfire, and some group games or storytelling.

Day 3 Transfer To Masai Mara

After breakfast, you set off on a scenic drive to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, you’ll stop at several points in the Great Rift Valley to take photos and enjoy the views.
When you arrive in the Maasai Mara, you check in at the lodge, relax, and have lunch.
In the afternoon, you head out for your first game drive across the wide golden savannah. The safari gets even more exciting here, with more wildlife to see. You might spot elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and lions.
As the sun sets, you return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 4 Full Day Masai Mara Experience

The day starts early with a sunrise game drive, the best time to see predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas hunting. The morning light is also perfect for taking photos.
After breakfast back at camp, you have free time to relax. You can swim, join group discussions, take photos, or enjoy other activities at the lodge.
In the afternoon, you go on another long game drive, exploring deeper into the Maasai Mara. You’ll see large herds of elephants, giraffes, and antelopes. If you like, you can also try a hot-air balloon safari.
The day ends with dinner, a bonfire, and time to share your favorite moments from the safari.

Day 5 Masai Mara To Nairobi

On the last day, you start with an early morning game drive for one more chance to see the Maasai Mara’s wildlife at sunrise. You might spot lions, herds of animals grazing, and other wildlife at their most active.
After the game drive, you return to the lodge for a farewell breakfast in the wild. It’s a chance for everyone to share memories, photos, and stories from the trip.
After checking out, you start your journey back, stopping at scenic spots along the way. This marks the end of your Tunza Group Explorer Safari.
